Top and bottom pivots in place of side-mounted hinges. Used for oversized leaves and signature openings where the door becomes an architectural element.

Pocket Door

Sliding panel that disappears into a wall cavity when open. Specified where floor space is at a premium and a flush wall face is desired in the open position.

02 · Door Anatomy

Door Profiles

Every Linea Motion door uses our 2" stile profile as the standard across both the ThinWall and Trimmed systems. Top rail and kick-plate dimensions vary by application: the 5" rail is standard on most swing doors, with a 10" kick plate added for high-traffic spaces. Barn doors use a 4" rail.

Every Linea Motion swing door ships with the LM Standard Lever Passage Handle.

Configurable as a passage set or with keyed entry. The 2" stile profile carries this hardware without modification on both ThinWall and Trimmed doors.

Hardware Swing Door Levers

Every Linea Motion swing door ships with the Porto lever by default same hardware family across ThinWall and Trimmed. Porto, Milan, Vienna, and Zurich are interchangeable at no up charge; the Hager is required wherever ANSI commercial functions are specified.

Hardware Ladder Handles

All ladder handles are compatible with both 2" and 4" stile profiles. The 18" handle is included as standard on all sliding doors. Ladder handles can be specified on swing doors as an upgrade to the standard lever (door closer required).

Mortise Lock System

Engineered for rigorous daily use, these systems are precision-scaled to integrate seamlessly with our slim-profile stiles, ensuring that visual integrity is never sacrificed for security.

Swing Door Latch

Lock body	Mortised into the door stile. Latch + deadbolt with Euro-profile cylinder cutout.
Strike plate	Stainless steel, mortised into the jamb. Factory-aligned with the lock body.
Cylinder	70 mm Euro-profile, double-cylinder or thumbturn. Three keys included per cylinder.

Sliding Door Lock

Hook bolt	Compatible with all sliding door handles, excluding the 72" Ladder Floor-Locking built-in.
Edge-pull strike	Recessed stainless strike plate sits flush in the jamb pocket; no protrusions in the door path.
Cylinder	Same 70 mm Euro-profile cylinder as the swing system one keyway across the entire opening schedule.

Concealed Hinges

Every Linea Motion swing door ThinWall and Trimmed alike rides on three-axis concealed hinges. They disappear into the door and jamb when closed, preserving the frameless look the system is built around, and they offer post-install adjustment in all three directions to dial in the reveal.

Standard tempered safety glass. Maximizes natural light and sightlines across the door the default panel on every Linea Motion door unless otherwise specified.

Misc Options

Closers, hold-opens, catches, and access-control prep the supporting hardware that completes a finished opening.

Swing Door Closer

Standard or heavy-duty surface-mount closer. Required for ladder-handle swing-door applications. Available in brushed steel or matte black.

Magnetic Hold-Open

Floor-mounted magnetic catch with a strike plate at the door bottom. Holds open swing doors at any pre-set angle until manually released.

Access Control

Prep for card readers, keypads, and electric strikes. Coordinate hardware and power requirements with us during shop drawings.

Roller Catch

Adjustable roller and strike that holds a non-latching swing door closed. A quiet alternative to a latch on passage openings.
