The typical private office on a modern floor plan has a glass front facing the corridor and drywall returns on the other sides. Linea Motion supplies the glass front (one or more lites, head and jamb extrusions, sill detail) and the door (slider or swing) as one coordinated assembly - so the office reads as one piece of architecture, not a wall plus a door.

Typical configurations

• Single-door office - one swing or sliding door, framed by one or two fixed lites.
• Office with transom - door with sidelite with or without a structural header between the transom window above.
• Corner office - glass on two sides seamlessly meeting at a 90° aluminum corner.
• Glass-front bay - multiple adjacent offices sharing a continuous glass wall with the same head and sill detail.

Sliding vs. swing for private offices

Sliders are the default for most modern private offices - no corridor swing, no floor track, no threshold. Swings are specified where acoustic isolation needs to be maximized (a closed swing seals more tightly than a slider) or where the office has a specific lock function requiring a mortise hardware set.
