Commercial-grade doors for residential interiors

Most residential interior doors are hollow-core, painted, and on hinges. They’re the cheapest possible solution for a moving part in the wall. For projects where the interior is the design - custom homes, high-end multi-family, hospitality-grade apartments - Linea Motion brings commercial aluminum door systems into the space: same finishes, same hardware, same engineering as our office and partition work.

Where residential applications fit

Hardware and finish for the residential context

Residential interiors favor matte finishes that don’t show fingerprints and hardware that doesn’t shout. Standard lever profiles and flush pulls in Matte Black or Anodized Silver are most-specified. For bath privacy, the 4″ stile carries thumbturn-locking privacy hardware with an exterior emergency release. See the Hardware & Finishes matrix for full options.

How to specify

Send us the floor plan and a few opening photos. We’ll come back with a system recommendation (ThinWall for finished walls, Trimmed for rough or retrofit openings), the door types per opening, and the hardware schedule.
